More About Theo Knell

Theo Knell was born in East London, UK, overcoming early years in institutions and homelessness. He found direction and discipline in the British Army, serving in the cavalry, Parachute Regiment, and British Special Forces across Northern Ireland, Africa, the Middle East, and the Far East.

His poetry, rooted in lived experience, appears in "Heroes: 100 Poems from the New Generation of War Poets." His non-fiction books, "A Hell for Heroes," "Beyond The Lid" and his poetry collections, "Silk and Thunder", Tempest & Tallow", a blend of prose and free verse exploring courage, trauma, and survival, making him a unique voice in contemporary literature.
